THE CAPTAIN & THE VESSEL

Captain Christian Pebbles Holds a Merchant Mariners Credential from the U.S. Cost Guard National Maritime Center. Christian grew up fishing, diving and boating on the north coast of California. He believes the ocean calms the mind, body and spirit and wants to share the ocean life, it's that simple. Captain Christian has been operating his vessel in Bodega Bay since 2008.

The Fillet and Release is an Offshore 27 foot Boston Whaler  that is US Coast Guard inspected. This is the only full walk around vessel of the six passenger whale watching boats in Bodega Bay. This gives the guests the opportunity to be up front on the bow which enhances the visual and auditory whale experience. With its wide beam, it provides a stable platform for viewing whales, sea lions, harbor seals, dolphins, a wide variety of bird life and the Marin/Sonoma coastline.
